When walking along the Niwot Trail near my home in Boulder, Colorado, I was intrigued by a little farm that was tucked away behind the foliage. If you blinked, you would miss it. On a steaming hot summer day, I found a shady spot along the creek and got out my paintbrushes. I had wanted to paint this scene for a long time, and here it is. I liked the huge silos and how I could see the continental divide in the distance.
