Although the image seems artist fantasy, the shipwreck beach is a real place that I have the luck to visit last summer in the Greek island Zakynthos.
I was deeply impressed, it’s certainly one of the most beautiful places in the world.
The white cliffs dropping form the highland directly in to the blue sea reflected the light each other and the fluorescent turquoise of the water creating subtle effects that I try to render in the painting with the amazing blue of the water
