This outing to the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo was my first to try to take pictures at night on the midway. WHAT FUN! Every picture gives you a different light pattern! It's hard not to just go on and on and on taking pictures over and over and over again. But....there was that red velvet funnel cake to attend to! The Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo is in its 117th year. The event lasts for 23 days. Aside from the midway, there is "heart pounding rodeo, world class livestock, kid friendly exhibits, live music, cowboy cuisine....and four acres of incredible shopping". The midway is ever entertaining. It was ALMOST worth it to pay $1 to see the snake woman, a beautiful creature with the head of a woman and the body of a snake! Or perhaps 50 cents to see the the worlds smallest woman, only 29" tall. Let's not forget the 'turkey legs' and the corny dogs and the fried butter. What a scene it is.
