Panes of Broken Glass in a square format is an abstract watercolor depicting broken glass. Can you feel the jagged edges? This painting was based on a photograph of tree roots and the negative space between them.

My fascination with patterns stems from my love of numbers. While mathematics has been integral in my working career in finance, my other love is painting. My subject matter is inspired by photographs taken by friends and family. I see a photograph in terms of color, line and geometry.
