Taking advantage of a cloudless sky, I drove out to photograph the February Full Moon, which is known as the "Snow Moon". This is Wickham Lake, which is located in the town of Warwick, NY. Normally, the park (Wickham Woodlands) closes at dark, but a local officer was kind enough to allow me to stay to photograph this ethereal landscape.

I knew that the lake was frozen solid, and it would absorb the intense light of the moon, causing it to have a ghost like appearance. For this perspective, I chose to stand in the middle of the picnic grove and used the various tree shapes as silhouetted dancers of the night to produce this image that permeates with so much mystical charm.


Since Fine Art America does not offer the option to photographers to sign their prints, and after receiving numerous requests for an autograph print that was purchased via Fine Art America, I have decided to offer my photographs in the following two scenarios:
