#040714-A, "Let Nature enter your body" 8 x 8 piece of collage art with a 2� white mat to the final size of 12 x 12 ready for you to slide into a nice 12 x 12 frame.

Materials Used: 140lb. Watercolor paper, polymer medium, acrylics, stained tissue paper, painted newsprint, sanded National Geographic, altered with gesso brown lunch bags and acrylic glazing, wax pastel crayons, sealed with a layer of UV satin varnished.

Meaning behind the art: At the beginning of the week I took a walk in the woods and had my camera phone. I pulled it out and took a picture every time I saw something that attracted me. When I came home I compiled the photos on one sheet of computer paper and hung in my studio�For the rest of the week as I came up there I saw the images and would get excited and thinking about how and what I wanted to emulate from natures and bring to the surface of the watercolor paper and tack down. Bio Laura Lein-Svencner was raised in Downers Grove IL not far from her grandfather�s farm and resides now Darien Illinois for the past 30 years. She�s continued with her personal studies in drawing, printmaking, sculpture, papermaking and collage. Seeking inspiration from one artist to another, Laura has pursued her love of paper; this steady pace of exploration has led her to become a member of many local and international collage groups.
