I absolutely love this photo of Hazel. My first visit to the Smoky Mountains was in April 2017. I have been searching for a black bear photo for years and this one stole my heart. This beautiful girl was photographed the same year. I am very pleased with the canvas print!!

In the late 1950s, Americans began hearing about a slightly oversized student at Ohio State University with golden, blond hair and a unique ability to really crunch a golf ball. At age 19, just a college sophomore, Jack Nicklaus consolidated national attention when he won the 1959 United States Amateur. Two years later, in 1961, he achieved the pinnacle of amateur success by winning both the U.S. Amateur as well as the NCAA title.
Over the years, the vast majority of successful amateur golfers have crumbled under the �bright lights� of the professional circuit. Such was not to be the case with Jack Nicklaus, featuring raw power; he was easily the longest hitter in the game when he turned professional in 1962. This earned him the nickname �The Golden Bear.� A very serious student of the game, Nicklaus subsequently concentrated heavily on his short irons and putting, leading to exceptionally well-rounded, consistent golf.

His powerfully dramatic, emotional depictions of Native Americans and early settlers, as well as Western landscapes and wildlife, have made him one of Americas leading painters and sculptors. Born in Greenwich Village, Perillo moved to Staten Island, New York, at age two and has lived there his entire life. Poverty stricken as a boy, he was forced to use as canvases the paper bags ironed by his mother and his first medium was coffee.
