Prints are lovely, shipping was exorbitant. I ordered from an Irish artist’s (Val Byrne) website, to be delivered to an Irish address, and it wasn’t until completing the order that I saw shipping was going to be 55 pounds sterling. It was not immediately clear from the artist’s website that the prints would ship from anywhere far away enough to justify such a cost, nor that the order would be fulfilled by a third party in America.

"Essence" Oregon, USA ++ Featured in the Bighorn Gallery at Dead Horse Point State Park March 1 through April 29, 2014 and September 1, 2015 through February 29, 2016 ++ FineArtAmerica Features: + Nature Photography + Digital Photography + US Forests and Wilderness I enjoyed an evening walking solitary on an unnamed beach in southern Oregon. I had just witnessed an incredible light show at another vantage point. And now since sunset had passed about 45 minutes previously, I decided to walk around to soak in the remaining light of the evening. As I reached a particular spot I saw waves flowing evenly along the flat sand, creating patterns and symmetrical lines. I had to take another shot! I setup for a long exposure, permitting a wide range of pastel color to surface. The essence of the moment... peace, harmony, and solace. File info: 1308-4-8195 [2:1]
