I absolutely love this photo of Hazel. My first visit to the Smoky Mountains was in April 2017. I have been searching for a black bear photo for years and this one stole my heart. This beautiful girl was photographed the same year. I am very pleased with the canvas print!!

Lions for the Fine Arts Institute
Are of bronze and the largest ever modeled in a standing posture.
The two bronze lions erected on the pedestals in the front of the Fine Arts Institute Monday and Tuesday are swathed in canvas and the public will not be allowed to see them until May 10 when the annual exhibits of the Artists' Sketch club opens.
These lions are the gift of Mrs. Henry Field, who promised them before her husband's death, and who, since his death, has bestowed upon the institute his $300,000 collection of modern French paintings. The artist is Edward Kemeys who modeled the wild animals on the pedestals of the Exposition. They were cast by the American Bronze company at Grand Junction. They weigh three tones each, are ten feet high and fifteen feet long, and are the largest lions ever modeled in a standing posture.
