I'm apparently dreaming of Iceland just a little more� On this final night before flying out, I was lucky enough to be in J�kuls�rl�n for a solar storm that resulted in some great Aurora activity.

I may be a nature photographer at heart but there was something about the angles of the glowing streams of green in the sky over the bridge that really caught my attention.

How I Got The Shot
At first, I felt like I was fighting with the scene to get a good composition. I finally realized this was because I was so fixated on staying close to the water so I could get glowing green in the foreground. This was a big draw but I found that the angles of the glowing streams of green really complimented the shape of the bridge as well. I felt I had to choose one or the other and that getting both would only compromise the scene.

With that, I gave up on the reflected green foreground and went for the combination of elements I already had....
