This Longhorn image captured in December of 2006 on a ranch West of Wimberley, Texas. Texas Icon was recently chosen to appear in a Fine Art America video that will promote the FAA web site.

A Ft. Worth native, Anschutz moved to central Texas, at an early age, when his father was transferred to Austin. After graduating from the University of Texas in 1964, he worked for a small graphic design firm where became interested in photography. In 1967, he purchased Photo Graphics and operated the business until 1993. In March of 2004, Anschutz relocated to Wimberley, TX, where he lives and works today.
