Thumbnail Images Are Not Loading

Seems thumbnail images aren't loading. Is it me? the System? What can I do to get my thumbnails back?

I am seeing some slow loading for thumbnails and I am on a very fast connection. It's likely a server load issue or some glitch that will soon be rectified. What can you do to get yuor thumbnails back? Likely nothing - other than practice patience.

Thank you. I had to make sure it wasn't my system or that I needed to do something to my machine. So patience it is so I don't make it worse.

Thanks, Nina, most of them are back, but not all. Not just my site; it's images in discussions and other people's pages. Whatever it is/was it does seem to be fixing itself.

I'm still not getting most thumbnails in discussions, contests and collections. I cleared my cache but problem persists. I've used other machines and devices to no avail. I think 3 days is overly patient. This is a serious problem. I need help or answers.

It shows up on discussions, thumbnails, contests images, new uploads, and more.

I also have the same problem about thumbnails not loading, but only occasionally. I just hit F5 to refresh and it fixes it.

well, that worked ... once and only once. It refreshed one page, went to another and no response.

Any other ideas? I've tried patience, refresh, clear cache, multiple devices and many platforms, different browsers, FAA and Pixels.
And yet the problem persists going on two or three weeks now. It's very depressing and demotivating.

No change.

Mostly, I'm using PC with windows 10 and chrome, or laptop with windows 11 and chrome. I also use edge with same issue.
I use my android phone with chrome.
I use my kindle 8 pad with silk browser.
I used a not-mine windows 11 PC with edge browser. All have the same issue.

I've tried going to FAA and Pixels. No change.
I've tried logged out and logged in. No change.

I've tried refresh, f5, clear cache, right click show image, no help- still have missing images.

decription of issue:
some images won't load.

detail of problem:
Collections folder image will show. No problem.
Open collections and I see no images or very few images. Missing images have image place holders with name of image and under that name of image. Call that condition 1.
In collections I can click on the missing image and I do go to the image. So that works.
However, once I have my image up, there are no images in the products column and recently viewed assuming there should be. (condition 1 applies)
Don't know if this is related, but the resolution preview won't load whatever section I click on.
If I go to edit collection, I see some by not all images.


If I go to the images tab:
That's the worst. Mostly condition 1 applies, but placeholders are clickable.
If I pick someone elses site, I can see most of their work but some are condition 1 with clickable links.
If I visit again, more images go missing. I've been to other's sites where I can't see any of their images, just like mine. (If you want names I can provide, upon request.)

on the forum in discussions:
Images in discussions show up with only condition 1 images. Some links don't show, usually ones copied that don't include the 'Wall Art", "Buy art", "sell art", etc in the embed code.

Posted hot links will work and go to the proper image. No problem.
Although rarely the link will send me to the shop page for a totally random artist. That could be an unrelated issue, just wanted to include that.

Groups issue:
Pretty much condition 1 with clickable embed codes, and hot links seems to always work.
Some embed codes do not show at all, especiall if the "wall art", etc marker is not copied. Not sure why some embed codes have it and some don't. Seems possibly related to new uploads.


I don't recall ever NOT seeing any image when reached through clicking. All images are visible when I go to the image Page.
Looks like it's a thumbnail only issue.

Just a friendly reminder:

No images is still a persistent problem. It's been over 3 months now.
Others reporting the same issue.

Granted, I do get to see a few images here and there (but never in the discussions like before).

My most important question here is how can one order art if the art cannot be seen?
-Products are not visible.
-High resolution does not work.
-3D previewer on products page offers no images. In fact, no product images of any kind show up.

Do buyers have this problem?
If I was a professional buyer and couldn't see the images, I'd go elsewhere.

I do buy the occasional item, but that won't happen again until I can see what I'm getting.

You think it's just me?
It's not just my images that don't show up.
I can't see YOUR work either.

I don't understand what the problem is, but it's still a problem.
Please take this seriously and look into the cause of the image blackout.
This ONLY happens on the FAA/PIXELS sites. So I don't believe it's my system that is failing.
Just to hazard a quess, Maybe a new engine or server is needed?

I'm desperately blind here.
Please help.

I am seeing your images. What are you not seeing?

OAFD, I see all of your images with no problem. I even tried a couple of the 3-D views and the hi-res views - they also worked without a problem.

As Jessica, said, "It must be you." Or your connection, computer, router or whatever...

11/05/23 Missing Thumbnails

FIXED but your browser may show them still as missing. To check this you can open an incognito tab and take a look, you will see that anyone new visiting the page will see all your images. Clearing your history may help

I'm so happy you guys can see images.

Okay, yes Jessica and Abbie, I tried all that.
I logged out, cleared history, cache, cookies, etc,
I went incognito.

It appears that I CAN see SOME but not all images IF I AM NOT SIGNED IN.

It is such a thrill to see my images again, but I can't work logged out.
The instant I log in --- vanished.

It's really hard to work blind.

Please understand, I have a smart phone, a kindle, a laptop, and a PC. I use android, Windows 10, Windows 11.
I use Chrome, Silk, Edge, (and something else)
I've even use other people's devices.
All of which fail to load images.

Also note that this ONLY happens in my logged in FAA/PIXELS account/s.
Nowhere else on the internet refuses to show me thumbnails or images.

So It's me?
Seems rather odd considering the depth of involvement.
I'm not trying to point any fingers or lay any blame.
I just need some workable answers that gets me back in business, eyes open.

Thank you for leaving this thread open.
I hope we can resolve the problem.

The problem with trying to fix it is, only you are seeing this.

I suggest in turn;

Turn off your AVG or similar and look at the page
disable any addons on your browser and see if that helps
If you can see the images, turn things back on slowly until you discover which thing is stopping them

OAFD, on that page I see every one of those "broken" images. Really strange.

Who is your ISP? Some of them cache pages and/or images for a long time. I have Comcast and when I make some programming changes (internal code) I may not see those changes for several hours. Sometimes rebooting my router works but not always. So I use my iphone , turn off wifi, reboot the phone, then browse the internet via my cell provider. That almost always works.

It's Spectrum. I think it's a ComCast company.

I have to admit, that's one thing I haven't tried.

So far everything I try makes it worse or regresses any progress I've made.

I turned off the antivirus (I thought that's what AVG might mean).
That actually was a bit helpful.
Still no change to viewing images in any discussions like contests or these public discussions. There without fail for months, I get those placekeepers like in the example I showed above.

I'm still working on the fixes. I've had some improvement but nothing is sticking yet.
It's slow going as I make changes and verify for any process, and largely an intermediate change.


Haven't figured out yet why the discussion images don't come in. That seems really locked in.

The issue is in every browser on every device on my home network. I have tried countless things to try and fix it. I have spent hours talking with my internet provider. I have even changed out my modem and router. Nothing worked. I have Spectrum internet also.

I have given up.

Anytime I need to work on Pixels/FAA, I need to use my mobile hot spot to connect to the site. It's a work around.

I also wonder how many customers are effected by the issue?

I hate to say it but I'm glad to hear you say that. Makes me feel legitimized. Also, I'm sorry to hear that you are having the problem too. I feel for you. I've just started talking to Spectrum support, who recommends a modem change. I was feeling good about that, until I see that probably won't work.

I have been away from home this week, and I'm using "not-Spectrum" networks, all with excellent success.
But whenever I go home again, the problem returns. So, in that, I believe I've isolated the problem to my home WIFI.

Thanks to everyone for helping me with this daunting, perplexing issue.

Have reloaded two images and thumbnais still not showing
