Unsuccesful Jpg Upload-help

Hi! This hasn't happened before. I keep getting an "ooops something is not right message" when uploading a photo. It states the file must be jpg to upload.
used the same camera to take the photo as all other uploads
Size is 5.98 MB
It is a JPG

Have tried on my phone and my laptop to upload it. I searched the discussion forum but have not been able to resolve it.

Any ideas?

Thank you!!!
Roseanne

try logging out and then in again, clear the cache, maybe rename the photo

Try opening the file with a different program and saving as a jpeg again, a bit tedious but it worked for me when I experienced this problem in the past.

If you are trying to upload from a phone or mobile device it is often because they now save files as HEIC or HEIF files (High efficiency files) instead of JPGs so your camera settings need changing to most compatible (JPGs.) You have to open the image in editing software are re-save it as a Jpg.

Have you read this thread? Abbie has included a lot of different reasons for upload problems.

I usually save over it and do a save as and save it again. Sometimes it like doesn't stick when you save it. Also make sure it really is a jpg, not just a file that you stuck a jpg extension on.
