This is a beautiful painting! The artist knows my husband and we were so excited to bring one of her pieces of art into our home! It's beyond what we expected! It is part of the background when I do virtual meetings (which I am in all day long) and I get so many compliments on how beautiful my "virtual backdrop is". When I tell people that it's my actual office, they always comment on the art!

The Lion And Lamb painting is absolutely beautiful and very anointed. It speaks such peace to me. We have been furnishing a missionary apartment and as soon as I saw this picture I knew it was the one! She is very like my sweet Emma and I bought it in memory of her. Emma's room is now my office but the painting makes clear that it is still, first and foremost, kitty space. This piece comforts my heart every day. Emma has been gone for a year and I miss her incredibly.

By stretching, smashing and cropping existing art, a new painting is brought to life. These fun new images can stand alone or bring a level of recognition depending on the viewers previous experiences. My images are influenced by the modern restrictions and the spontaneity of instagram, facebook and graphic design and the way images are wedged into restricted spaces. In the way that hip-hop music can combine sampling of vaguely recognizable hooks, melodies and beats, my paintings sample, combine, and repurpose art history and pop imagery.
