I first want to commend Fine Art America because I really think they have the best website for purchasing artwork. Itโs a beautiful selection with a wide variety of imagery and a lot of very talented photographers. This was the first time that I ordered from them and my large format print, which was mounted on wood, came very quickly and looks beautiful! The only reason my rating is four stars instead of five is that the box was very beat up when it arrived, and the picture is slightly damaged. The left front edge has a bit of a gouge out which isnโt terribly noticeable if youโre not looking for it, but itโs unfortunately there. Other than that, my experience with Fine Art American was fantastic and I would order from them again.

This is a really beautiful image. It will be going up over my desk where I read my bible every day and pray. It came very well packaged and well-made. I just need to get it in a frame, as I ordered the version on wood. I like the fact that the corners are very slightly rounded; a little extra attention to detail.

I absolutely love this portrait. Aside from being a great picture, it's sturdy and flawless. The medium, size, everything was exactly as described on the site so when I opened it I saw exactly what I expected to see. I plan to buy more from FineArtAmerica.com in the future.

About Mary Helmreich
Mary Helmreich was born in 1945 near Boston, Massachusetts. Her talent was recognized early, when at age nine she won a prize for portraiture, competing against high school students. At twelve she attended a summer art program at the Museum of Fine Arts Boston. In the eleventh grade she studied under Sidney Hurwitz at the De Cordova Museum in Lincoln, Massachusetts, and at the Cummington School of the Arts in the Berkshires. At Bard College New York from 1963-1964 she majored in Sculpture taught by Harvey Fite and Fine Art by Anton Refregier. She continued her studies at the School of the Museum of Fine Arts Boston from 1964-1965 under the tutelage of Robert Grady and Andreas Feininger. Toward the end of 1965 she traveled to London and...
