This is a painting of Rocky and Apollo Creed and it is called "The Favor" because Apollo kept hinting to Rocky that he owed him a favor after the big fight Apollo was training Rocky for. Apollo wanted to redeem himself in the private little fight with Rocky after losing the title fight a few years before.

I have been an artist for as long as I can remember drawing Chiefs football players and cops and robbers as a little boy. I was born and now live back in Kansas City, MO after living 25 years in southern California.. After receiving a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in painting/drawing, I pursued a career in painting portraits and fine art. At this time in 1987, I did an inspired painting of action star Sylvester Stallone and ended up selling it to him after contacting him with a little luck and have sold 10 paintings to Stallone since then.
