Topsail Island is known for it's sea turtles and beautiful beaches, and the sunrise can be breathtakingly beautiful when capturing both.
The rising sun with her spread of spectacular colors of tangerine, mellow yellow and Easter egg blue light up the coastal sands of North Carolina. The beauty found upon her beaches is magnificent and she shimmers her reflective colors upon a beautiful sea turtle climbing the dunes in the foreground. The sea turtles lay their eggs in the spring and their young hatch in the fall. Topsail Island has one of the most extensive turtle preservation programs in the United States.
