Kirkjufell mountain (church mountain in Icelandic) and Kirkjufellsfoss waterfalls are located on the north coast of Iceland's Snæfellsnes peninsula. It is claimed to be the most photographed mountain in the country. As you can see it is pretty iconic and photogenic! It is easily accessible by car. However the parking lot was almost full when we visited this location. To get this sunrise photo we woke up pretty early but when we arrived there were already other photographers with their tripods set up! Probably this is the most classic shot of the waterfall and the mountain! Be sure to explore the area since it is well worth it!
