I did this painting after going for a late afternoon walk in the Fall.- the color of the seed heads and pink sky were so appealing! Peter Strauss Ranch is a great place to go for a hike in the Santa Monica Mountains. It has a seasonal stream and small concerts in the summer.

Luisa Millicent is a professional watercolor artist and illustrator, her background is in the world of film and advertising. She worked for many years in London as a commercial artist and colorist before moving to Los Angeles to do the same.
