It was “lost” by fed Ex. Apparently another was sent, but I have not received an update on the status. Disappointed

I own an original painting by Linda Dessaint. I think this large framed canvas print of another of her paintings is of high quality and almost as beautiful. I’m so pleased with the color and the silver floating frame. Our walls are pale gray-blue and they make a perfect background for the print. It was very carefully packaged, too.

We got the 40" wide print on canvas to replace the cheap portrait-orientation print of another subject that had hung above the couch in the front room for many years. It is a significant improvement that makes a classy room classier. The wall is a pale mint green, which I thought would look weird with this art, but the wife wanted it, and it seems to work. An aspen grove is a peaceful place to be, as we hope our front room is. The new aspens on the wall inside are a nice compliment to the aspen trees outside the front window. The print quality is excellent. One quibble with Fine Art America's customer service: I sent them a product question, but don't remember receiving an answer.
Artist's Description
Opera poster for Turandot by Giacomo Puccini - from the minimalist opera poster series by illustrator and writer Moira Risen - a perfect gift for opera fans.
'Puccini's last work is the bloody story of a slightly psychopathic Chinese princess named Turandot who has her suitors beheaded if they fail to solve her riddles and the equally problematic young Prince Calaf who pretty light-heartedly sacrifices the life of his father's young slave girl, Liu, in order to get the princess' hand. A charming couple :)!
Puccini couldn't finish composing this opera before his death, the remaining scenes were completed by Franco Alfano using Puccini's notes.
The sheet music at the bottom of the poster is from Prince Calaf's aria 'Nessun dorma', the signature aria of Luciano Pavarotti, one of the greatest tenors of all time.
This poster is part of my continuously augmented opera-themed poster collection featuring the works of Mozart, Verdi, Puccini, Wagner, Rossini and other...
