At the last party at the 'Garden of Allah,' a man helps a woman in an evening gown out of a swimming pool onto the crowded pool deck, Los Angeles, California, August 1959, Los Angeles, California, August 1959. The 'Garden,' an apartment complex and former hotel that consisted of a main house and a series of villas, was founded and, initially, owned by actress Alla Nazimova, and hosted numerous and reportedly raucous parties before it was demolished.
