I purchased this as a gift for my nephew and his fiancé who recently moved to New Hampshire. They say they love it. (They approved it prior to purchase). Everyone is happy I love this artist’s work.

Nice piece. It was a gift for a friend that grew up in Santa Barbara. Looks good on the wall. Thanks.

Repurchased this work in a larger size to match other WWII military aircraft artwork I have in my home office, mostly from Fine Art America. Image quality matched that from nearly five years ago — fabulous. Green’s depiction of history is outstanding

Another great work from Donoghue. Clearly shows all the details of the Helldivers — along with the fury they were able to inflict in combat
Artist's Description
Edwin Austin Abbey (1852–1911) was an American artist and illustrator celebrated for his historical and literary themes, especially his illustrations of Shakespearean scenes. Born in Philadelphia, Abbey trained at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts before working as an illustrator for Harper's Weekly, where his meticulous and expressive style gained widespread recognition. In 1883, he moved to England, where he became deeply inspired by British history and literature. Abbey also created notable murals, including a series for the Pennsylvania State Capitol. His work, blending realism with romanticism, remains renowned for its rich detail, dramatic composition, and historical accuracy.
