A tribute to the Cowichan Valley, on Vancouver Island, where I live. Life here runs at a slow pace in summertime, and I wanted to create something that would capture that laid-back country atmosphere.

Beth is twenty-five, lives with her wonderful husband on beautiful Vancouver Island, and couldn't be happier. She has been drawing since she could hold a pencil, and spent her school years sketching during class; these days she may not know much of calculus or history, but she has been earning money from her art since she was seventeen.
