Having grown up in Altoona, Pennsylvania, discovering David Mittner’s artwork was truly a nostalgic and emotional experience. His incredible images of the Pennsylvania Railroad brought back vivid memories of my childhood—living just a few blocks from the PRR tracks and near the old turntable. The canvases I ordered are absolutely stunning. The quality is exceptional, both in the print and the canvas itself. These pieces now hang proudly in my office, and every glance at them is a joy. Thank you, David, for capturing the spirit of a time and place so beautifully. Excellent work all around!

This is wonderful. Great painting of a great leader, who, against all odds, won his fame in Chicago before being elected Senator, without even trying. He accomplished much in the way of legislation that is never even mentioned in the news. The Book, "Bridge" by David Remnick, a biography of Baack Obama, is little if ever mentioned. I found it in the library. If you don't mind, I'd like to send a copy of this painting with your name, in your name but from me, to all the newspapers, and the information I wrote above, with documentation of the link to the legislation I mentioned, and see if someone, maybe the Huffington Post, would print it. My link to my latest interest in art, a collection I want to sell and will soon put up on FAA is www.jazzsketches.net/ nothing to do with your art that I looked at today, but I want people to know that they can help me, if they know someone, to buy my jazz collection. Thanks for doing this painting of Barack Obama.
