I had been planning on photographing horses in snow for some time, but always seemed to miss my chance. So when a late snowfall came i knew this was my chance, and i knew just where to go to get the shots too.
This beautiful flaxen chestnut horse really stood out with it's red winter coat against the white snow.
As i sat down to take some pictures from a distance he noticed me and came over to see what i was doing, resulting in this close up portrait.
