The Ashuelot Bridge in Winchester, NH, is considered by many to be one of the state's most elaborate. It was built in 1864 at a cost of $$4650 and is 169 feet long. Covered bridges are innately charming, but since this one of the most photographed covered bridges in all of New England, I chose this atypical view which provides a more "romantic" perspective.
