The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back.   The wooden frame includes a hanging wire for easy mounting on your wall (see photo on the left).

Allens Pond is a nature preserve located in the southwestern corner of Dartmouth, Massachusetts on the border with Westport, MA. It has many hiking trails as well as a coastline area. On a clear day, the Elizabeth Islands can be seen on the horizon.

I have been photographing for a long time. I originally worked in the traditional black and white darkroom process but eventually migrated to the digital darkroom. Among my influences are photographers such as Edward and Brett Weston, Minor White, Elliott Erwitt, Michael Kenna, Marc Riboud, Wynn Bullock, Paul Caponigro and many others. Exploration and discovery of both the urban and natural landscapes has led me on my haphazard photographic journey. Sometimes I notice things in my nearby environment, other times in my travels to places like the desert southwest and the California coast. Lately I seem to be drawn to more abstract work incorporating shadows, silhouettes and empty space. I am also becoming interested in the effects of time...
