This is a sacred and iconic piece of art.
Artist's Description
This is a 12" x 12" piece of hardboard. I first did this on an 8" x 8" piece. But this time I did an underwash of orange which gave it more of a glow and sun and summer feel. This was our first time taking the boat over to P Town for a weekend with a bunch of boating friends. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed many good meals and took in a couple of their shows. I got a lot of paintings from the photos I took on this trip. This has become one of my best selling prints here on FAA and at the art gallery.
About Laura Lee Zanghetti
As you can see by the majority of Laura's work, seascapes and figurative work are what she is most passionate about. Her Umbrella Series is also a particular favorite of hers and her clients. Laura's new series of Shabby Chic florals is a big hit with her students and clients. She paints full time and enjoys a number of different techniques and styles of painting in her home studio in Walpole MA. Presently you can see Laura and her work at the "Artist's Studio and Gallery at Patriot Place" in Foxboro, MA. The Gallery is open Fri. 5-9, Sat. 1-9 and Sun. 12-6.
