Photographed near Rabbit Ears peaks, part of the Organ Mountains of southern New Mexico, the 1997 Ford SVT Mustang Cobra officially named the ford svt mustang cobra, it is a pony car model built in model years '93 through '04 by ford motor company's special vehicle team division, the svt cobra is a high-performance version of the ford mustang, the svt cobra was succeeded by the 2007 shelby gt500, although the gt500 is currently built in part by svt and wears a cobra emblem, it is not considered an svt cobra, as the car is licensed by shelby and does not have cobra in its model name or description,,
